803 Music Fest

Join us for this charity event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia. The RMHC helps critically ill and seriously injured children and their families. This organization survives on the kind donations of people just like yourself. In these hard economic times donations become less and less. Each year more than 350 families are served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia through one or both cornerstone programs, the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room.  These families are seeking shelter and solace during an extremely stressful time in their lives – facing the uncertainties of having a critically ill or injured child.  It is only because of the generosity and support of the community that we have been able to continue to ensure the highest quality of care and comfort for these families by providing them a safe and loving “home away from home” so they can focus on being together when being together is most important.

In the coming months we will be getting more and more shows in the area. Now that school is out it makes it a lot easier for us to work and advertise. But, we’re still gonna need your help. A local bar has told us that they want “nothing to do with Save The 803″ because they don’t know how “we gain from it”. People, we aren’t TRYING to gain anything from this! We just care about the local music scene and the people/charities that are here. It’s not easy being 16 and trying to do this. But it’s something I’m willing to make sacrifices for because it’s something I believe in. Stay tuned as we come up with more dates.
